The Mix Approach to Body & Life Transformation

The Mix started in November 2014 to solve the problem of getting busy women 35 & up fitting into their favorite clothes again, increasing their energy and confidence without exercising for hours or giving up their favorite foods (or drinks)! 

​Most people will suck it up and exercise, but they typically don't exercise effectively. They do 20-60min of cardio and when the desired results aren't reached, they cut back on food and get really strict, only to feel frustrated and deprived which will lead to giving into cravings, overeating and starting the entire cycle over again. No one wants to be on a diet!

At The Mix, we use a simple, four step approach to getting you the best results in faster time!
  1. Mindset: Almost all of our actions are driven by our habits, whether positive or negative. The hard truth is that where we are today in all areas of our life have mostly been created by our behaviour and choices that we've made. Through coaching, we (including you) create strategies to change negative habits, thinking and behavior.
  2. Nutrition: There is no getting around good nutrition and hydration. These two control most of your desired outcome. At The Mix, we don't complicate nutrition. We work with your lifestyle! By showing you how to choose quality foods, choose proper supplements, save money, eat mindfully, cook quick, healthy and delicious meals that the entire family can enjoy and how to incorporate your favorite foods and drinks, it'll never feel like you're on a diet or restricting yourself. 
  3. Exercise: You don't need to spend hours in the gym to exercise for your goals. You'll get an exercise prescription that works for your goals that you can do in just 3.5 hrs per week!
  4. Rest/Recovery: Though not widely known, your results actually happen when you're resting and sleeping. This is the time when your body repairs and upgrades itself, where your hormones get back down to their normal levels. Sleeping less than 7 hours consistently will affect the amount of calories you consume, metabolism, cravings, belly fat, metabolism and energy levels! We coach you on how to work up to the proper amount of sleep as well as recovery through stretching and foam rolling to keep you at your peak for life!
