Best Drive Thru Breakfast Options

Look, I would looove for you to make breakfast at home and have some of these options:
  • Green protein smoothie
  • Protein oatmeal
  • Veggie egg omelet (or veggie egg muffins)
or other high protein with vegetable breakfast, but I also know that you're busy.
Here are the best things you can get from the drive thru for breakfast.

I only chose things that were on the lower end for sodium and sugar with a good amount of protein, so if you don't see it listed, just know the sodium is probably through the roof (over 800mg!!!)
Starbucks
  • Oatmeal (use half the amount of brown sugar or none at all)
  • Protein Bistro Box
  • Egg & Cheddar Breakfast sandwich
  • Reduced Fat Turkey Bacon sandwich

Mc Donald's 
  • Egg White and Cheese Bagel (you will have to custom order this)
  • Egg White and Cheese Burrito (again a custom order)
  • Hotcakes, Egg Whites, Sausage (custom order. Go easy on the syrup and butter)
  • Fruit & Maple Oatmeal (leave off cream, go light on the brown sugar & cranberry blend to lower the sugar)
  • Yogurt Parfait (couple this with another item to make it more filling)

Chick Fil A
  • Greek Yogurt Parfait + Multigrain Oatmeal (go light on the toppings to lower sugar)
  • Chicken Breakfast Burrito (with extra veggies & grilled chicken if available

Also know that you don't have to eat traditional breakfast foods!
Think proteins and veggies and lower sodium (limit sausage, bacon, ham)!
Also, order your coffee concoction half sweet to cut your sugars. This will lessen your craving for sugars throughout the day.
